In life, it’s always important to have vision. The power of belief is easy to talk about, but it’s not as easy to envision it. Visualizing what you want in life can lead to great things, even if at times it ends up in disbelief, anger, or sadness. You shouldn’t let one fall stop you from envisioning what’s next and what’s better to come.
At times, life hits you with great disbelief, but I like to think that it can only get better from there. In my blog, I’ve always talked about the power of positive thinking and how it has a great outcome for people’s daily lives. Envisioning your life in a positive manner will also help you find yourself and the strength you need at any moment. You will be capable of anything.
“When one door closes, another one opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.”
Alexander Graham Bell
“Not all those who wander are lost.”
In order to explore you don’t need to know where you’re going. Open your horizons and learn more about your surroundings by walking around, enjoying the fresh air, and taking in some Vitamin E from the sunlight. Weather it’s with a friend/loved one or by yourself, it’s always great to do something unexpected and different every once in a while. This allows us to enjoy the little things in life and get to know a little bit more about ourselves.
“Night is purer than day; it is better for thinking and loving and dreaming.
At night everything is more intense, more true.
The echo of words that have been spoken during the day takes a new and deeper meaning.”
– Elie Wiesel
At times I think it’s my insomnia attacking, but I’ve noticed that I’ve always found myself at night. During the night I get inspired to do more things, to push myself into creating something new, and challenge my imagination. I guess I can say that sometimes the darkness speaks to me and sparks my inner artist that craves to only grow each and every day. It permits me to be myself and enjoy every minute of it.
Does the night spark something in you?
Life is simple: Eat your problems for breakfast. Genius.
Truth: Nothing worth having comes easy. I’m pretty sure that’s why some say that patience is a virtue, which I for one agree. In life, we need to fight for the things we want and love the most, even if that means going through some struggles. My family always taught me that the harder you work for something, the greater the gratitude is towards the end; if that something is simply given to you, I guarantee it wouldn’t be as gratifying. Never give up on something you really want. If you find it to be too hard, fight through the struggles! Have a little patience and you’ll see how everything will fall into place.
“Do one thing everyday that scares you.”
– Eleanor Roosevelt
Personally, I think that one should be willing to try something new everyday. Life is all about taking risks and doing things that might be overwhelming, even scary at times. Those are the things that’ll make us grow and achieve all of our goals/dreams in life. If one isn’t willing or able to take small risks, life would be monotonous.
“Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.”
I came across this quote today on Instagram and I couldn’t agree more. Sometimes it’s best to let the past be, even if we’re not necessarily happy with it. One should always live in the present and not dwell on the past. There’s nothing we can do about the past, but we can certainly choose where we are going. The future awaits us and that should be one of our motivations in life. Instead of staying in the past, keep moving forward! There’s no better day than the one you’re living in right now.
